Dundalk Young Irelands secured a hard-fought 2-9 to 0-13 victory over Seán O’Mahony’s.
Two excellent first-half goals from Ruairí helped Young Irelands build a seven-point lead at one stage.
Seán O’Mahony’s came back strongly after the break and moved one point ahead, but the Irelands showed great character to regain the lead and see out a two-point victory.
