NewLouth GAA Grounds to Be Named Edward Goodman Park
Dundalk Young Irelands is delighted to see Louth GAA announce that the new county grounds will be named Edward Goodman Park.
This is a particularly proud moment for our club, as Edward Goodman was a member of the Dundalk Young Irelands team that represented Louth in the very first All-Ireland Senior Football Final in 1887.
To see his name associated with the new home of Louth GAA is a fitting tribute to one of our club’s pioneering figures and a significant moment in the history of Dundalk Young Irelands.
We congratulate Louth GAA and The Goodman Foundation on this landmark partnership and look forward to Edward Goodman Park becoming a place where new memories are created and new chapters of Louth GAA history are written for generations to come.
