🏟️ Dundalk Young Irelands Tour Louth GAA’s New Stadium

Dundalk Young Irelands recently had the opportunity to tour Louth GAA’s impressive new stadium development.

The main stand will include 4,080 seats, hospitality suites, an event control room and dedicated accessible viewing areas.

The new main pitch will measure 140 metres by 90 metres, making it slightly larger than Croke Park. It will feature a sand-based playing surface, a built-in irrigation system and tapered banks on both sides to provide additional standing areas. There will also be a player training pitch within the grounds.

The expected capacity for the first game, currently planned for May/June next year, will be approximately 6,000 to 7,000 spectators.

Phase Two of the development will involve the construction of an additional 8,000-seat stand.

The stadium will also include:

• Four dressing rooms

 • Three separate entrance turnstyles

 • Rainwater-harvesting tanks located beneath the main stand

• Modern hospitality and event-management facilities

• High-quality accessibility provisions

A hugely impressive development that will provide a fantastic new home for Louth GAA.
