A thrilling encounter tonight between the two top teams in the Division 6 North Louth league ended in a hard-fought draw. Cuchulainn Gaels proved to be the toughest opposition we’ve faced so far, but a strong team performance saw the lads rise to the challenge.
Liam McStravick was in fine form, landing some superb two-pointers to keep us on top for long stretches. In the final moments, Colin Caraher pulled off a vital block to secure the draw as both teams battled to the end.
With just three games left, everything is still to play for. We’re right in the mix for the league title, and it could all come down to score difference.
