Dundalk Young Irelands Men’s Junior team made it two wins from two in the Division Six League tonight with a hard-fought victory over a strong Glyde Rangers side.

Ruairí O’Connor opened the scoring with a tidy goal inside the first 15 minutes, and Aleks Balta pulled off two crucial saves in the first half to keep us in control. Evan McArdle and Joe Mee were outstanding in midfield, setting the tempo throughout. 

Brucey landed a brilliant two-pointer in the second half, before Jack McLoughlin sealed the deal with a cracking goal in the dying moments.
